Saturday 24th September, cadets from 1181 went on a visit to RAF Cosford museum in Shropshire.
An early start on a warm morning gave the cadets a full day to learn about the history of aviation which is far better way than being taught in a classroom. The cadets enjoyed a quiz, put together by CI Dan Reeves, designed to test their observational skills.
The visit was aimed at helping the cadets with their knowledge of the Histor of Flight and the Royal Air Force, as this is necessary information to gain their first class badges. At the end of the day, CI D Reeves counted up the scores of the quiz and revealed the winners were "The chilling Beans". An enjoyable and educational day was had by all. Thank you to the staff: CI P Reeves, CI D Reeves and SGT Rickman Days like this would not be possible without them.
