On Friday 8th April, 5 cadets from 1181 Syston Squadron made their way to RAF Wyton to experience a flight in a Grob Tutor aircraft.

 Cadets Poole, Fyffe, Peat and Hopkinson were experiencing an Air Experience Flight for the first time, whilst Corporal Setchell had his first flight of 2011.

The cadets all got approximatly 20 mins flying time and got to experience the thrill of aerobatics. Cdt Poole said "I had to get permission to get the day off from school to go and i'm really pleased I did. The whole flight was really exciting. I was a bit nervous to begin with, but once we had taken off I loved every minute, especially the aerobatics. I would like to be a pilot one day, so this was a great learning experience for me."
