On Saturday 4th December, 5 cadets from 1181 Syston Squadron ATC, bag-packed at a local Supermarket to raise money for a local charity called Vista.
Vista is a charity that is dedicated to improving the lives of almost 6000 people with sight loss in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. The cadets spent the morning bag-packing, ably assisted by a Christmas Carol singing pink elephant and raised a lot of money on the day. The politeness and overall appearance of the cadets was commented on by numerous members of the public as well as the Vista staff, who offered their thanks for the help provided on the day.
