Corporal Bradley Setchell represented 1181 Syston Squadron and South and East Midlands Wing in the Regional Swimming Competition on the 31st October 2010. He proved that he truly deserved his place in the team by winning 2 bronze medals in the junior boys 4x50m freestyle event and the 4x50m medlay event. This is the second time he has represented the wing but the first time he has won medals as a result.

Pilot Officer Kenyon, OiC 1181 Squadron said 'The squadron has a long history of sporting success and we are delighted that Corporal Setchell has been able to carry that on by representing the wing in swimming. I am sure that he will go on to have a very fruitful cadet career both in and out of the pool.'
