There is an Initial NCO course being held at RAF Wittering on the weekend of the 23rd - 25th March. If you would like to be considered to attend, fill in the following forms and return them to Plt Off McGlynn by Thursday 23rd February. There are limited places so not everybody may be successful in applying. More details can be obtained from Plt Off McGlynn.

The squadron will be visiting RAF Coningsby on Wednesday 4th April.

The day will consist of visiting the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight in the morning, lunch in the mess and then a visit to 29(R) Squadron's Typhoons during the afternoon.

If you're interested in going, sign up on the flight board in the main hall. More details will be released closer to the time.

To be eligible for any overseas camps you must be aged 15 or above on the first day of the camp and have attended at least one UK week long annual camp.

Gibraltar:

Week 1: 02-09 Apr 12

Week 4: 21-28 Aug 12 (Female cadet places only)

Week 6: 25 Oct - 01 Nov 12

The cost for the above camps is £250 airfare plus an additional £120 will be required on the camp.

To attend, please fill in the following forms and bring them in to Plt Off McGlynn along with your passport, European Health Insurance Card and a cheque made out to 'South and East Midlands Wing ATC' for £250. When handing your forms in, please be clear which week camp you are applying for.

The cost for this camp is £182 airfare and camp levy. An additional 170 euros should be taken by cadets to cover other camp costs, food and spending money.

There are still female cadet places available for Annual Camp at RAF High Wycombe - 14 to 21 July 2012. There is also 1 female place for annual camp at RAF Valley - 28 March to 4 April 2012. If you want to go, fill in the following consent forms and return them to Plt Off McGlynn ASAP. Places will be issued on a first come first served basis. Unfortunately, there are no male places at present for any annual camps.
